I had to let everyone know the news. This Museum is going to be fantastic and I cannot wait for it to open. Read the article below.
" TELLING OUR STORY OUR WAY "
Since Italians began arriving in America generations ago, what has always been missing up until now is a place where the Italian American experience can be witnessed in all its glory, all its suffering, all its many splendid ways that have made Italian Americans such a pivotal factor in the fabric of the United States.
Finally, we can now say the Italian American community will have their own state of the art national museum in the very center of a community so synonymous with the Italian American experience; Little Italy. We have just now purchased a group of buildings at the corners of Mulberry Street and Grand Street, in Lower Manhattan, which over the coming months and years will grow into an impressive facility; where we will tell our story our way.
